Ottawa Adult Soccer Club

Asmis FC won the first Division 1 title with a 10-2-2 record. This is the first time they have finished as the Ottawa Adult Soccer Clubs top team.

After a mixed start to the season that saw them lose their 1st and 4th matches they recovered to go unbeaten in the remaining 10 games of the season. Their 2-2 tie in their penultimate game against last seasons champions GDMS Gunners saw them confirm top spot.

After last years 3rd place finish team manager Nick Guerrini recruited well over the winter "We brought in a few new players this season who filled out some missing pieces in our team and we were fortunate that they bought into our system." said Nick

Les Hirondelles finished runners up in their first season in the league. They clinched the runners up spot with a 3-2 win over Ottawa Valley in their last game of the season. Hooligans finished 3rd in their best season since joining the club 3 years ago.

Lewis Harerimana of Les Hirondelles won the golden boot with 21 goals.

Derek Carvill of GDMS Gunners won the top goal keeper award for the 2nd time in 3 seasons with 4 shutouts

Ottawa's women professional soccer team was announced last week at TD Place.

The Ottawa Rapid FC will play in the inaugural Northern Super League in 2025 with franchises in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

The Ottawa Adult Soccer Club and Atlético Ottawa are pleased to announce a renewal of their partnership which was successfully launched in 2021.

As part of the agreement the OASC has purchased tickets for the Atlético Ottawa game against FC Forge on Saturday May 25th at TD Place.  Kick off is 3:00pm. 

Each 11 a side team will receive 10 tickets with the 7 a side teams receiving 7 each. Teams may purchase additional tickets if they require them.

OASC members and their friends will also have the option to purchase match tickets at reduced prices for all 2024 Canadian Premier League matches at TD Place.  The discounted tickets can be purchased through a portal on the OASC website.

78 teams will participate in the Ottawa Adult Soccer Club for the 2024 season. That is an increase of 15 from last year.

63 of the teams will participate in our own league, up from 58 in 2023. The remaining 15 teams will represent the club in the Ottawa Carleton Soccer League (OCSL).

Club President Tim Baigent was delighted with the growth in the club. "This is the 5th year in a row where we have seen an increase in our team entry." said Tim "Our large team entry demonstrate the confidence that our members have in our organization."

The Reds are back in Division 1. The team were founder members of the league in 1980 and have participated every year since.
