The Ottawa Adult Soccer Club will be celebrating its 45th season in 2025.

The club was formed in 1980 as the Nepean Industrial Soccer League with 12 teams made up from the hi tech industry but by the end of the decade the club rebranded to the National Capital Industrial Soccer League (NCISL) as its popularity grew across the city.

The club changed its name again in 2021 to the Ottawa Adult Soccer Club as it changed its business strategy.

"The club needed to adapt to the changing Ottawa soccer market" said President Tim Baigent "The move away from corporate teams to open teams gave the club a massive shot in the arm"

In 2024 78 teams participated in the club, a 100% increase from just 5 years earlier.

Many of our teams have long service records in the club but The Reds and GDMS Gunners stand out as ever presents . Both teams were founder members of the club in 1980 and have played in every season since.
